Open Christian University Hub runs rolling admissions into different academic programs, delivered in partnership with its partner universities. Admission requirements vary depending on the level of study, study program and expected learning outcomes. Generally, below are the adminission requirements in most of our degree programs.
UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS
To be admitted to the first year of an undergraduate Programme, applicant must be aged at least 16 and have completed high school in a related discipline. Application must include:
MASTER PROGRAMS
To meet admission requirements for Master Degree, applicants need to be 18 years old or older and be able to demonstrate a bachelor's degree completion in a relevant field of study. In addition, applicants need to have a minimum of one-year work experience and be proficient in English as a language of the institution. To apply for admission, candidate must submit the following documents:
DOCTORAL ADMISSIONS
Applicants to doctoral programs must be at least 18 years old, have completed a Master program in relevant subject area from a recognized university or possess a UK equivalent level 7 professional development diploma with 2 years of management experience. Applicant must demonstrate ability of carrying out independent research project in English. To apply for admission, candidate must submit the following documents:
The duration of the program is three to five years.
UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS

- Copy of National Identity Card or passport
- Passport size photographs (Colored)
- Dully filled University application form
MASTER PROGRAMS
To meet admission requirements for Master Degree, applicants need to be 18 years old or older and be able to demonstrate a bachelor's degree completion in a relevant field of study. In addition, applicants need to have a minimum of one-year work experience and be proficient in English as a language of the institution. To apply for admission, candidate must submit the following documents:
- Undergraduate degree certificate and Transcripts;
- Updated Resume or CV;
- Proof of nationality (National ID card or passport);
- One reference letter (from an employer/lecturer etc.);
- Dully filled university application form
- Applicants who are non-native English speakers, or did not complete their undergraduate degree in an institution where the primary language of instruction is English, are required to provide proof of English proficiency during their application process. Should applicants be unable to provide proof of English proficiency, they will be required to take a particular Test before proceeding to the chosen courses.
DOCTORAL ADMISSIONS
Applicants to doctoral programs must be at least 18 years old, have completed a Master program in relevant subject area from a recognized university or possess a UK equivalent level 7 professional development diploma with 2 years of management experience. Applicant must demonstrate ability of carrying out independent research project in English. To apply for admission, candidate must submit the following documents:
- Copy of relevant master’s degree certificate and transcripts
- Proof of nationality (National ID card or passport)
- Updated Resume or CV
- Two official Recommendation Letters (Academic or Professional)
- Dully filled university Application form
- Recognized proof of English proficiency if previous studies were not taught in the English language. Otherwise, an IELTS score 5.5 (with a minimum of 5.0 in each component) is required; or an English Placement Test result with a 5.5 equivalence (provided no score in each individual component is less than 5.0).
- In addition, candidates may be required to sit for qualifying examination and / or attend oral interview sessions to determine eligibility.
- All applicants for the PhD will be required to submit a written report to the author of the document. Candidate can be required to change if there is no senior academic to such.
The duration of the program is three to five years.
